Social Secretary Wanted

I think that I need to hire a social secretary. Ambrose is constantly going on play dates and socialization outings. I have been severely neglected. I don't get to blog, or visit my friends' blogs, as often as I want. Barbara takes pictures of Ambrose but forgets to take pictures of me! A social secretary could keep our lives organized and make sure that I get all the attention and training that I need.

Ambrose had another playdate today with his little girfriend Scout.

They love to race around the yard and run through the tunnel.

After they get tired of running they play a lot of bitey face. They play in a very reciprocal way so it is all in fun even if it looks pretty rough.

It is a wonder that either of them have any ears left since they chew on them so much.

Ambrose is usually very tired after his playdates with Scout. This is a good thing because it means I won't have to play with him so much and can get my beauty sleep.

I know that you all like to see pictures of Ambrose since he is supposedly such a cute puppy. Well I was pretty cute when I was a puppy too. My mom Misty sent me this photo of me when I was 3 weeks and 2 days old.

  2. You were an adorable puppy. We agree you need a social secretary, and you need to bug you mom to set you up some playdates with your friends for a change.

  3. Yes, Ambrose is cute, but you are BEAUTIFUL, Niamh, and we miss seeing your lovely face. We would volunteer to be your social secretaries but it would probably be tricky with the time difference... unless... would you like to move here?

  4. Awwwwwwwwwwwww, what a cutie patootie you were, Niamh!
You're right about Ambrose - he's lucky he still has his ears after all of those puppy battles!

    Love ya lots,

  5. I know what you mean. It seems like Pee-Wee does many more activities than I do and sometimes I become velcro dog to show momma that I miss her. She says she has to do stuff with the little guy and that I wouldn't enjoy myself, but I don't like it.

Maybe we need to form a club for abused older siblings.

  6. Oh, poor Niamh!! I agree - we need to see more of you and your human needs to take you out to do more stuff so you can blog about it! :-) Maybe we can start a petition?
    "More Niamh! More Niamh!"

And we think you were a much cuter puppy than Ambrose! (Although he IS very cute...)

  7. Ambrose's body is getting more dog-shaped and less wiggly, fat-bellied puppy-shaped every day. It's amazing! Look at those muscles!

And we admire your muscles too, Niamh. Except... I miss your photos. Lost luscious flowing locks. Those soulful eyes. We hope you're doing well! (And being social!)

  10. Don't worry soon Ambrose will be all grown up and not so cute so you will get more attention. The Callie girl used to get all the attention too but now she is just a pest..
    Hang in there.

  11. Niamh,

I know Ambrose must get on your nerves now and then, but I still hope you'll tell your mother I said those puppy photos are so funny and adorable! I love the one of Scout on the broad jump and of Ambrose taking off with the toy chicken.

Soon he will be a teenager and you'll look back on his annoying puppy days with nostalgia. :) Hang in there, beautiful Niamh.

  20. Niamh,

You were not cute - you were a GORGEOUS puppy! It's so upsetting when our secretaries ignore us! My mom met a flat coat retriever puppy named Scout on Friday. She took a bunch of pictures & will post about him later in the week.
