Barbara has FINALLY gotten around to putting the photos from the Jambalya Jam on my blog. Don't you think I look pretty in my bandanna? Green is a good color for me.
This is a picture of me with my friend Lucy. She is a setter too but not a Gordon. She is an Irish Setter and they are always red. Lucy is an excellent spinner and a lot of fun to be around.

Niamh, It is so good to have you on the drill team! You looked so good in your first outing and will only get better. Barbara has taught all of us what we do and she is the best. I don't see many other red setters. A lot of people say, "I used to have one when I was growing up", but not many have them now. I don't know, perhaps it is because we Irish Setters are wild and crazy girls! My person Susan says it's because we are not "starter dogs", whatever that means. That is why is is so nice to have a"cousin" Gordon Setter on the drill team. I learned a lot from Selkie, who was older and wiser but still seemed to be able to get away with being a little wild. I don't think the humans like us to trade secrets about how we get away with things, but I can share with you what I know, and especially what I learned from Selkie. Boy, I miss her. Ypou and I are about the same size and have the same great, beatuiful long flowing hair -- don't you love it they call it feathers -- and will be stars in the parades together. Don't get me wrong, I love all the dogs in the group, from the little ones right on up, but we can have a special bond. Welcome to the team!
Lucy.
