National Stuffie Appreciation Day

My terrier friend, Mr. T-bone Beasley, decided that we dogs need to show attention to our stuffed toys and declared May 8th as National Stuffie Appreciation Day. I love my stuffed toys so here are a few photos of some of my stuffies.

This is the new stuffed toy that Barbara got me in honor of National Stuffie Appreciation Day.

Here I am examining some of my toys. Do you see what a good job I've done removing the legs from the clown?

I exhumed these 2 toys especially for National Stuffie Appreciation Day. They spent the winter under the leaves. I think they look lovely and filthy now and their smell is delightful.

As I was leaving the dog park this morning I saw several abandoned stuffies on the ground. I really wanted to take one home with me but Barbara said "Niamh you don't know where those toys have been. They could have cooties!" Cooties must be some dread disease of stuffies that would be contagious to my own stuffed toys so, sadly, I left them at the dog park.

Hehehe...I can't believe that Barbara didn't let you appreciate the park stuffies! Doesn't she know the greatness that today is!!!

The exhuming part of bringing up past stuffies looks like a lot of fun! I've become quite a digger! And your picture just brought a tingling to my paws!

Thanks for being a part of International/National Stuffie Appreciation day!

I'm telling you, Hoomans are so strange about their mythical "cooties" and "germs." You have some really great stuffies. It's obvious that you've done a wonderful job loving them with your teeth.

much love,
Hero

p.s. and tell your mom that I said happy mother's day to her!

Niamh!
I think that we are stuffie twins!! I have a frog that looks JUST like your froggie...does your frog have a removable/replaceable squeaky?? If so we ARE stuffie twins!
I fully agree that my mom and dad 2b should have brought me some cake - mom said that she tried to bring me some after she had a taste but dad2b ate them ALL!
I hope you are having a set-ter-rific day!
